Eleanor Albert

Eleanor M. Albert is a PhD candidate in political science at the George Washington University. Her research interests include Chinese foreign and domestic policy, and China’s participation in global governance. Eleanor previously worked for the explanatory journalism arm of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. She holds a dual degree masters from Sciences Po Paris and Fudan University in Shanghai, and a BA from Vassar College.

Stephen Rangazas

Stephen Rangazas is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at George Washington University. His research interests include violence against civilians, insurgent taxation, and the uses of historical conflict data. His dissertation explores the effectiveness of government indiscriminate violence during civil wars with a particular focus on the Vietnam War. He holds a B.A. from Indiana University.
